Materials Packs for many of my published tutorials are usually available in my Etsy shop, however I’m not going to be restocking sold out packs as I’m unable to obtain the right supplies (particularly beads) at a sensible price post Brexit. I’m also keen to spend more time beading and writing up new designs rather than sourcing, weighing and packing beads, so once they are gone they are gone.
With that in mind though I’m happy to share the details of the colourways I’ve offered over the years once they are out of stock in my Etsy shop. I have a page in progress listing the most popular ones here and if you’ve seen one not listed there please do message me via Etsy or here, and I’ll be happy to share the bead colour details for any of those. In the tutorials themselves I also include a list of beads for any samples I’ve made during the design process if you’d like to recreate those or perhaps use them as a starting point?
Beads sent may vary very slightly from those shown in the photos, as sometimes I can’t get exactly the same ones, but they will always be just as lovely or even lovelier.
Please note that the packs do not include the tutorial/instructions – you need to purchase these separately here .
Please also note that needles and thread are not included, as I find every beader has slightly different preferences.

OUT OF STOCK Squidy Component Pack

The semi precious cabochon, embroidery wires, hand dyed ribbons, chatons, backing and foundation required to make one of my Squidy Pendants or Decorations. These are the harder to source elements put together in a pack – you’ll just need to add your own seed beads etc and purchase the tutorial.
The pack includes a unique oval dyed agate cabochon, beautiful hand dyed silk ribbons, coloured ‘goldwork’ wires (please note these are not actual gold), pieces of Nicoles’ Bead Backing & Ultrasuede. You can select the individual cabochon for the colourway of your choice from the drop down (use the letters in the pictures to identify them).
Please note that you will need to add your own beads – the quantities used in this piece are so small I’ve not included them in this pack so that you can source them from your stash and keep the price down.
Currently out of stock – I will restock this if and when I can source new cabochons.

Hello Sarah –
– and Happy New Year!
I’ve just bought the tutorial for the Baroque Tape Measure Surround and wonder if you could put a materials pack together for me? Actually, it’s for a present for a friend who seems to be in a “black&pink” mood at the moment. I’m thinking that something combining “Pretty in Pink” and “Dark Metals” would be perfect. Is that a possibility?
Many thanks.
Jane Hartley.
Jane
Of course, I’ll have a look in my stash and put something together.
Sarah
Hi Jane, I have a couple of options for you to have a look at. If you could email me at beads@cryer.eu, then I will have your email address so I can send you some pictures?
