The response to my Floral Boxes has been absolutely amazing, and I’m so grateful. Keeping up with demand is basically impossible and I’m conscious that many of you keep missing out on being able to choose your favourite colourway or size, and are perhaps ending up with whatever you can get your hands on. Whilst in many ways that’s fine for me, I’d probably rather you were happy with what you’ve bought, and I’d also love it if I could keep them in stock a little longer to allow new customers to find me (and maybe give me time to bead or work on a new design).
With that in mind I’m opening a ‘no commitment, no pre-payment, just ask’ waiting list. You can contact me through the contact form here, through Etsy or through my socials and ask me to let me know when I have a particular colourway/size available, and I’ll then prioritise the requested kits or boxes and let you know when they’re ready. As I work in colour batches and am dependant on bead, sequin, felt and filament availability (way too many elements in these!!) I won’t be able to give you more than a rough ETA – we’re probably looking at somewhere between 1 week and 2 months depending on the colourway and demand. Importantly because of that batch working it won’t necessarily be the quickest way to get any boxes or kits, it will just be the quickest way to get that specific box or kit with some degree of security (and no requirement to panic buy when I do a launch). It will help me to target my efforts towards what you genuinely want and hopefully get a better understanding of your tastes.

Just use the contact form on this website or message me through Etsy, Facebook or Instagram – whatever is easiest for you. As ever, beads, sequins and even felt colours may vary depending on availability, but they’ll always be lovely and work together well.
How are they made?
These box bases have been designed and 3D printed by me specially to show off the wonderful technique of dimensional bead embroidery, plus the brilliant multi-coloured PLA filaments I’ve found. PLA is a biodegradable thermoplastic and it’s great for more eco-friendly 3D printing – made from fermented plant starch like corn, cassava, sugarcane or sugar beet pulp, and many of the filaments I use also contain recycled PLA elements. I’ve developed this design to be virtually zero waste in print using a special printing technique as well, to further ensure we can enjoy these pieces with minimal impact.
What do you get?
Boxes
A new and innovative ‘Floral Box’ inspired by giant waterlily flower buds, 3D printed in PLA and suitable for embellishing using bead or hand embroidery. Each box includes a handcut hard felt insert for the lid – just embellish with bead embroidery or even hand embroidery (you might want to mount on tulle on a hoop for the latter).
Kits
Each kit contains – seed beads (all Miyuki of Japan); Czech beads (O or Tri, and Teacup), plain, printed and flower shaped sequins in a variety of colours and finishes, plus the 3D printed box base, a hand cut hard felt beading foundation, specialist Miyuki or KO beading thread and Miyuki beading needle. Each also includes a printed colourway guide and bead embroidery instructions to guide you through stitching and personalising your finished piece. You will just need a pair of small sharp scissors and glue to fix the finished work to the lid.
Sizes, Pricing & Postage
Prices are correct as of September 2026, but may vary (particularly if you are in the US with the constant tariff changes) – I’ll give you accurate pricing once your items are ready and there is no commitment to purchase if you’re unhappy at that point (but do please have a look at what they are likely to be before requesting). Prices for US customers are higher because they include your tariffs pre-paid, to avoid additional payments and delays on arrival in the US.
At the moment I cannot send anything at all to the EU or to Northern Ireland because I’m unable to meet the requirements for EU GPSR.

Dahlia
Purple, gold, and ruby matte box, with hot florals (think Great Dixter’s hot borders). Not for the faint hearted, but a personal favourite.
Posy
Posy is a pastel aqua, lemon and pink silk, with beads and sequins mainly in a delicate green and pink palette, lifted with silver lined lime seeds and lovely gold coated multi-coloured flower sequins. In the larger sizes I’ve added a lovely lilac spoke sequin.
I do still have a small amount of filament for the original matte version of the Posy (now made in more reliable and shiny silk). Do say if you might prefer that to the silk, but I can’t promise it as it’s a bit naughty on the printer because it doesn’t adhere well on the first layer, which is why when I found almost the same colours from a different manufacturer in this gorgeous silk finish I switched!
Viola
Viola is a 4 colour filament (wow) – blue, red, yellow and purple – quite dark and moody as the pigments are very strong although it’s a shiny silk finish. I’ve gone for bruised violets, magentas and blues with a highlight of metallic zest and hints of green from the Magic Orchid beads and some of the sequin finishes. However this filament would also look amazing with rich, regal colours, so if you’re looking for something to work with stronger ‘jewel colours’ and a gold or bronze base you might like this box as a starting point.
Meadow
The newest colourway Meadow came about when I bought a new filament which looked nothing like the listing pictures (it is way better IRL), and also found some new printed glittery sequins in a variety of shapes. It’s similar to Posy but the colours are more intense – mid pink, mid blue and acid yellow – brighter and stronger than ‘Posy’s’ pastels but not completely saturated like say ‘Gloriosa’.
Gloriosa
If I’m honest Gloriosa is probably my favourite colourway, and this filament was a fantastic find (and features in several items in my house now). The box has very vivid fuchsia, acid yellow and cobalt blues in a matte finish, it’s a bit temperamental to print because high contrast multi colour filaments are very unforgiving of any factory twists, plus matte filaments really don’t want to stick, but it’s well worth the effort for the intensity of colours. Beads are a very very Sarah acid yellow, lime, and fuchsia, with some gorgeous printed multicolour and satin fuchsia sequins which I can only occasionally get, so please bear that in mind when requesting – I may not be able to do this one at all times because of that.
Crocosmia
Crocosmia is a matte finish burnt red, lime and blue box with red, olive, sage, lime and old gold sequins and beads.
Waterlily
This was the original colourway, as waterlily pads were the inspiration for the development and shapes of the boxes themselves. This box is a silk finish in fuchsia, blue and emerald green, with fuchsia, magenta, teal, lime and emerald beads and sequins.
Hydrangea
Hydrangea is a 2 colour filament in silk, with a lovely mid blue and sea green, so giving a blended aqua in between. Beads and sequins are blues, aquas and lilacs, with some magenta highlights and a tiny touch of silver to lift.
Sakura
Sakura kits will probably only be available through this route so do ask if this is your favourite. The box is a 2 colour silk with pink and gold, giving lovely peachy tones as it blends, and the beads are pale pinks, acid & lime greens, and peaches with some lovely gold finish orange and lemon flowers.
Marigold
This is a box only option at the moment, I’ve not had time to develop the kits (but I have some ideas so watch this space). A 2 colour filament in red and gold, so lovely orange blends and an overall coral impression.
